that pissed me off SOOOO bad when I saw it. just a stupid legal stunt that has no grounds...

Well, duh, it has no grounds. Did you happen to see when the town was estabished, on their seal? 1955. Well I took Business Law in HS....................and although it was several yrs ago 
I'd have to say that any judge should dimiss the case while laughing hysterically.....................apparently they haven't heard of the statute of Limitations. Not to mention suing the wrong individual.
Not to mention,..........................good luck with a lawsuit against a corpse!
