My son who is not my son, moved Thursday night to Southeast Missouri.

He is a brat, but can be good at times. I was caring for him as my son since his birth in 2001. His mother and I divorced in 2003. I know I was not obligated to help care for him after the divorce but I am a push over at times - well - most of the times. lol...

Robert, Dru, and Rhonda all meet him - sorry again for the bad experience at lunch after the library event.

All that said - He will not be at our events in Chanute nor at our lunches.

Robert and I hope to have lunch with Drew and Rhonda, and any of your brothers and sisters in armor in Chanute with a peaceful atmosphere!

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes non-biological bonds can be stronger than biological ones.

It's nice of you to care for him like that Farron. If it makes you feel any better I am closer to my step-dad (He's who I call dad) than my biological father (Who i'm pretty sure isn't even aware of where I live anymore). I am sure when he grows up he'll appreciate what you did for him. ^_^

My real Dad=Sperm Donor
My Step Dad=The one who raised me, Is who I consider my real Dad. You are a great person for doing what you have done. I work with too many kids (Emotionally Disturbed) who have NO positive male role model. I am a firm believer that kids need a positive role models, both male and female.

CJ and Eric - Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

I talked on the phone with him yesterday - he wants to come over to my apt. and spend the night, I explain to him about how far away he is; he started to get sad but I reminded him of school starting on Wednesday (he loves school)and he focus on school and started to get excited about it instead of wanting to come to see me...

David - sometime on your way to Erie or return to Topeka drop by Chanute and have Lunch or a soda with Robert and I.
