Hey Chris,
I got a 360 for Christmas, and I am pretty dang happy with it. I wanted a PS3, but they are so expensive...
I haven't hooked it up to the web yet, but when it comes to simple gameplay it is top notch. I have Force Unleashed, Call of Duty WAW, and a couple other games and have a blast.
Personally, since I don't have time much to play online or anything anyway, I see getting a 360 arcade for $200 and being able to buy $200 worth of games is a better investment then $400 for just the system. Though I wish I could play Metal Gear 4...
