imbd.com still has the release date for January 18, 2008. This is gonna be one of those movies that we HAVE to dress up for. It will be so much fun! Hopefully, we can get some kind of dress up thing going in this area.

I would love to get a group together for the 'Eastern' side of the garrison. I will try to make calls on Monday to see what is happening around here.

It sounds like they are doing a major re-edit that will completely remove the "cancer plot line." Which basically means its a movie about a bunch of punks breaking into Lucasfilm for no good reason.
I prefer the original plot of friends doing something for a dying friend.

WoW. That's something. You need to check out the full story. we don't need another movie that makes fun of Star Wars Nerds like us. They also have a myspace and a like off of that to email the Weinstein Company.

The 501st Legion has not made any such official statement about a boycott, that Im aware of.
The Legion is still trying to determine if this person is even a Legion member. There is a discussion going on the 501st forums.

My conversation with Ernie at the Wired Magazine Fanboys Photo Shoot was great and you have nothing to worry about... March 18th will come around the corner. At the photo shoot Ernie invited me to fly down to Austin for the premiere of Fanboys. I told him "thank you, but i am the only one here from Kansas". I can not wait for you all to read the article about him.
